Avast issue when I push out updates.

Hello,

My users are getting a popup when I push out changes/updates to their machines. These are usually batch files coming from a network share zia Novell ZENWorks. The Sandbox popup asks them how they want to handle the program. We usually tell them to select open normally and check remember this choice. But it keeps happening. Is there a way I can make changes and push it out to all the users to either exclude this network share from the sandbox scanning, or just remove the sandbox feature all together? I have the Admin Console installed and is working, so I can push changes our through that if there is a way.

Hi dnielsen,

And welcome to the forums.

I’m thinking what you have is not a consumer product, but an enterprise or educational based product (You didn’t say).

Two possible links here:
https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=33.0
https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=55.0
or maybe even a third: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=8.0
Where you go depends on what product you have.

Hope this helps.

Anyone have any ideas?? Is AVAST not capable of globally excluding a share or drive mapping from the sandbox?

Thanks for the links above, I will check them out.
