I read that the problem was taken care of but every time that I go to use utorrent, Windows can’t find the exe file and I have to reinstall utorrent. Everything is fine for a day or two and then Avast pops up a warning about utorrent and deletes the execute file.
I use uTorrent and have never seen that happen.
link where you downloaded is the manufacturer, as elsewhere may contain viruses, spyware etc.
Yeah, that’s where I always download it from. I think the problem may be that I didn’t uncheck the boxes for the the browser add-on when I downloaded it although I did uncheck them during the install. This time, I unchecked the boxes and downloaded the exe file to my utorrent folder. When I double clicked the file, the program opened up without installing anything since everything else was already there. The only thing that was missing was the exe file. Before downloading, I uninstalled the browser add-on that got installed the first time even though I said that I didn’t want to install it. They could’ve made it easier by giving upgrading instructiuons but I think they want everyone to install the browser add-on.
Here is the warning that I got before. Hopefully, I won’t get it again but I’ll let you know if I do.
