avast keeps forgetting I have paid version

hi,
my problem is that avast keeps forgetting that I have paid version. it says I’m not protected and that I can extend my trial to 60 day. the thing is that I have paid version and license till next may. it does start working when I click fix it. but it shouldn’t do that and it is very annoying that I have to keep an eye on the small icon if there’s an x on it. it does it several times a day. I’ve updated everything and I didn’t have this problem with windows 7. now I have new computer and win10.

Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.

  1. Download Avast Internet Security: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_internet_security_setup_offline.exe
  2. Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.
