Problem:
Hi, I keep getting lots of (sometimes 1 per second) “blocked file” from Avast. The blocked objects are weird websites which I’ve never visited (http://parent.su/web/emma.php, tomaser.ru, etc.), infection says URL:Mal and the process is iexplore.exe.

I’ve done various searches but I can’t pinpoint the problem. Can you please help?

I’ve downloaded OTL and create logs, but I’m not sure how to use them.

  • This has been addressed before in the past but I’m having trouble understanding a solution. Sorry if redundant.
