Ever since Avast was installed on my Nexus 4, the GPS keeps turning off. If I need to use an app that uses GPS (i.e. Google Maps, Waze, etc.) I have to manually turn the GPS on since it is disabled continuously. Could there be an option in Avast that turns the GPS off? Or maybe after reporting the location it turns the GPS off? I have it set to report location every hour, when I go to my.avast.com, the location has been reported every hour by GPS. Help! 
Avast itself does not handle GPS service, but Anti-theft does; did you install it as well?
Yes, anti-theft was also installed at the same time the base Avast app was installed. I believe anti-theft is actually the one that reports location every hour as I mentioned in my post.
