avast! launching installer error >:(

This was really bugging me… everytime i want to run a installer for any avast! 2014 product this error message pops up:
“avast! installer cannot continue because the last avast! operation was performed without restarting. Please reboot your computer first and then run the installer again.”

I DID REBOOT! Plus I deleted all of the avast! traces on my PC (registry, files, temp files, drivers etc)

I know i posted this before, but I won’t stop even if my account gets banned!

Here are the details of my PC:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit SP1
AV: MSE (because lately I can’t run any installer for avast!)
Computer cleaners: ASC 7, CCleaner, Temp File Cleaner, PC Optimizer Pro, SUPERAntiSpyware Professional, Perfect Uninstaller.

Here’s the log that avast! been giving me with the error:

Any help appreciated.

What steps have you taken so far ?

As mentioned in your previous threads you’ll need to remove ASC - Advance System Care ( Iobit ) you have been told to remove this in every thread you open ::slight_smile: then run the removal tool for Iobit and also remove MSE before installing avast.

But ASC made my computer faster…

EDIT: uninstalled ASC, still the same error…

Anything else?

I don’t see how you could have removed ASC that quick including running it’s removal tool plus the removal of MSE and then reinstalling avast.

ASC used to have antivirus componants which is why I mentioned to remove it plus it’s very easy to scew up your registry with ASC ( snake oil junk imo ) CCleaner and Defragmenting would have the same performance effect.

I’d also suggest you re-run OTL and supply a new log.

You may have some registry keys that need to be removed. Did you check to see if there is a tool from ASC to remove all of the program from your computer, please? Do you have CCleaner or RevoUninstaller installed on your computer, please? These two programs will get rid of any left over registry keys, especially the RevoUninstaller.
