Avast License Question

Last October I purchased a license for AIS that would allow me to install it on 3 computers for 1 year. I immediately installed and began using it on my desktop and laptop. To make a long story short, after a while I removed Avast from both computers and started using something else. Yesterday, however, I downloaded, installed, and inserted my license for AIS again on my laptop, because I wanted to check out the new features in the latest version. I’m very impressed.

My question is this. I would like to also put AIS 6 back on my desktop. Will I be able to do this without exceeding my license? Because technically, this will be the 4th time I’ve used it, even though it’s on the same 2 computers as before.

Just wanted to find out for sure before I removed the product that’s currently on my desktop. Thanks!

You have licences for 3 PC. So, yes, you can do it.

This is more or less identical to: you have 3 PC - one breaks, you buy a new one. Of course you may install the software you bought on the new PC.

Thanks. I was almost certain it could be done. Just wanted to make sure I didn’t have to contact Avast first to have my license reset or something.

Steven, I have a similar question, if I have 2 different Operating Systems running parallel on one computer, can I use a single license on both or will I have to purchase another license? (I recommended Avast to a friend of mine and he said that he wants to buy AIS and he asked this. I wasnt sure about the answer ;D )

You can use in more than one operational system and only in one computer.

Thanks Tech!

You’re welcome
