Hi, I m using avast @ home, I wonder if I can use it on my university computer since it’s educational and doesn’t deal with any commercial activities?

I’m afraid not, the “home” condition must be fulfilled as well.
There are discounts for educational institutions, however (for the commercial products, like avast! Professional).
