I’d try the following:
- back up the tx log
- delete the file with the backup (you won’t need it anyway).
- stop the avast management server service
- stop the MSSQL$AVAST service
- delete the .ldf file
- start the services.
Easy and effective.
I’d try the following:
Easy and effective.
Done all 1…6
The MSSQL services has started well
The Avast mng services crash because of
Database check on SBS2003\avast server failed with 0000A410 error. Use AMS Tool to fix the problem.
How to use AMS Tool and which module ?
Thanks
Sergio
And you only deleted the .ldf file?? That’s weird – it shouldn’t really care about the log.
Maybe you started it too early – the MSSQL service might’ve been restoring the log and therefore denying access to the database.
Please retry it…
You can also use the AMS Tool’s “Check DB” command.
Thanks

It still doesn’t work.
My idea is to wait the very close release of RC_1 and setup the new software.
Have you some timeline of uploading the software ?
Thanks
