Hi people!

I’d like to know if there is any place where I can find a log generated by avast.

For example, I set avast to run a boot-time scan. As my HD is a little big, I’ve just leave it running and went out.

When I came back to computer, it was at Windows login screen, and I couldn’t see if avast found any virus, and, if so, what viruses was found and what avast did with them.

I’ve searching on avast log viewer, but I did not find any informations related with it.

Does anybody suggest anything? Where I can find a log with this information?

Hi inovox,

For the boot time scan log you go to:

C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\report\aswBoot.txt

Well avast will always ask for your input before sending anything to the chest or deleting a file. This is the default setting but you can change this.
