Avast logo or not Avast logo?

Hi,

I am Guillaume from Paris. I have been quite surprised a few months ago to see the new AVAST logo, maybe because it did remind be something.

Don’t you think that the attached logo is close to the AVAST one? Personaly, I do ! Maybe because I have registered it in France in 2006… I have used this logo on my “skweeb” webiste between 2006 and 2010. I plan to use it for another website but it is complicated now…

I really would like to have your view as AVAST communauty and also having the view of AVAST also…

They have a couple similarities, being orange, and with smaller elements coming off a central larger one.

But “the same”? Not at all.

Not the same, you are right, but confusing I guess…

They have the color in common but so do many other things. If you can’t tell the difference,
then it’s time for a pair of glasses. Certainly not confusing. :slight_smile:

Thanks for the advice, I know a few people who will need new glasses with me on that one :wink:

I feel now more confident in using my logo for a new free antivirus ! :smiley: Guess nobody will claim anything !?
