Avast Mac - Web Shield blocking Bonjour websites

Avast Mac Security 2015 (10.4 - 43419) seems to be blocking local Bonjour websites at random.

Example Bonjour URLs:

http://tivo-dvr-a1234.local.
http://hp-printer-2345.local.

I had some success by adding them as an exception to not be scanned but after a reboot, it still seems to be blocked - I have to disable Web Shield if I want to access Bonjour services.

Avast > Preferences > Shields > Web Shield > Settings > Excluded servers

Anyone else experiencing this or is this a known issue?

I’m having the same issue. All the Bonjour devices are being blocked.
For now, the only way seems to disable the web shield since the exclusions don’t work.

Come on Avast, you can do better than that… :frowning:

Is there something in the system log file?

Which log should I look for?
I check all logs from OSX and didn’t find anything obvious.

Logic says to look in the webshield log.
