Avast mail shield problem

Dear All,

We are using in our company avast pro antivirus and some of our users have problem with sending and saving messages, because avast kills the messages and it goes out from the user empty. it is a very big problem. If i turn off the mail shield than everthing is working well but the users mails are not checked. Anyone have any idea?

what if you only turn off outgoing scan in mailshield settings?

then the outgoing mails are not check also… how can this program cause so big problems like we can’t send mail to an supplier or customer it is horrible. :frowning:

I assume recivers at the other end use antivirus? .... and most mail servers have antivirus and you are sending from a clean machine ;)

what mail client are you using?

you may try avast repair

controlpanel > ad/remove programs > avast > uninstall/change > reapir option

i tried… nothing

if i turned off full mail shield then the avast block mail sending with c:\user.…temp\nsmail.html error. After shutdown all avast shields we can use Thunderbird again :frowning:
