i presently have firefox as the browser and its seems to works fine

i also have the free version of avast installed.

the issue is the constant pop-up windows and announcements from avast when it blocks i-frame & i-script & trojan attempts

while i certainly appreciate the protection…i was wondering if there is away to have the avast quietly block the malware without the constant pop-up/announcements…sometimes the pop-up/announcements number 15-16 in a row

Why quietly block detected malware, you want to be aware of the fact that the site you are visiting has an infection and that may not be the only thing on that site.

If you are getting this many in a row (from the same site ?) then you really should be reviewing your browsing habits.

The other problem is blocking stuff like iframe, is that the iframe tag is invariably in the web page source code, so in blocking it the whole page would be blocked anyway as it is the htm/l page code that is hacked/infected. So you wouldn’t be aware of there being an infection problem, just the the web page isn’t displayed and no idea why.

Thanks for the insight…i get these popup blocking notifications even from verizon email after logging in without even opening mail & i get it from netflix…its a constant thing

if constant…this may indicate that you have a infection…can you attach a screenshot of the warning popup

I downloaded the software you suggested and ran it a couple of days ago in the order suggested. I have not seen a Avast pop-up window in three days. Thank you for the advice.

you need to attach the logs so that the malware removers can check for any leftover files that need to be removed
he will also remove the tools used when done
