Avast + Malwarebytes conflict

I’ve been using Avast & Secureline VPN with Malwarebytes for about two years now with no problems. Then as soon as I decided to try the free Malwarebytes trial (so I can use all the features) Avast started shutting down every 5-10 minutes. Every once in a while when it did this it would tell me that another program is trying to shut down Avast. I have Windows 7 and never had any other virus software installed on this computer. I tried everything I could find online to fix it but nothing worked until I completely uninstalled Malwarebytes using their MB_Clean program. First I tried to uninstall Malwarebytes through the control panel but that wasn’t good enough- I had to use their removal tool (MB_clean). Now Avast works fine again and it’s not shutting down. I just thought you guys might want to know about this.

You need to set a exclusion for MBam in avast and vica versa.
