Avast managed client and Sage 50 Accounts 2011

We have an issue with Sage 50 Accounts 2011 and avast managed client.

The database is accessed over a network and the performance with avast services enabled is about 20 times slower than with avast disabled.

I thought it was the on-access scanner, but adding file exceptions for the Sage data and program files had no effect. Disabling the Standard Shield had no effect.

It turn out that if any one of the INternet Messaging, P2P, Standard, Network or Outlook shields are running, the slowdown is experienced. The other shields (Mail, Script, Web) have no effect on speed.

Any ideas on what’s causing the issue?

The issue is with the Avast security,Because of many firewalls and shields it tends to become little slow and the application which rely on them also tends to be on the slower side.Try to make a secure connection and fast connection too.
