Hello all,
I just had Avast mobile security on my Nexus 6P and since avast was installed, the energy saving feature “Doze” stopped working. It seemed as if the device was always kept in a wake lock or otherwise busy.
The moment I uninstalled avast, doze worked just fine.
Are there any other reports around that topic? Experiences?

Hi smartysmart34, unfortunately there have been no other reports of this issue. I have asked various colleagues and none of them seems to have any idea what the cause could be or how to fix it. Doze seems to turn off data when the screen is off, which does not work on new versions of Android (where the only thing it can turn of is the WiFi), but I guess that doesn’t explain the fact the Doze works fine after reinstallation of the Mobile Security.
