I’m sorry to say AMS has stopped updating the signature files of our five Android devices since Oct. 01.
A friend of ours, who lives about 60 kms away from us, experiences the same.
Apparently the Avast company is not aware of this very annoying and uninteresting phenomenon, which cripples ASM quite a lot.
Is something going wrong on the servers or what? We live in Belgium, Europe.
Will\Can this be fixed soon?

I can confirm that the last automatic AMS-update to signature version 151001-00 occurred 4 days ago.
What’s the matter? Has this anything to do with the recent AMS-update to version 4.0.7898?
Other users complain as well about this update delay in Google play store.
I would feel much safer if this bug would be fixed soon.
I can confirm that AMS Free is not updating virus signatures; still standing at 151001-00 on all 3 Android devices. My Samsung Tab S AMS updated to 4.0.7898 on Saturday, while our 2 Samsung Galaxy S5 (Verizon) just updated AMS version tonight.

I tried the manual update over and over again. Only received the pop-up that no updates are available.
Are only a few users affected by this bug? I’d really like to know if anybody received newer signature updates than 151001-00. Then please post here.

there seems to be some kind of synchronization problem on our servers. I’ll try to get it fixed as soon as possible.

Yes, virus signatures updated to version 151006-00 (5 hours ago) in the meantime.
