Avast - Money back guarantee not give the moeny

They say 30 days money back guarantee.
I open 1 ticket and they close it… I open another ticket and they not answer yet (2 days past)…
?!?!?
I bought avast clean and I get that I dont need it so please what to do?!

avast is trying to handle tickets within 10 business days.

Tickets are only closed if they are resolved or if there is no reaction within a certain time period.

As for your second ticket, 0 days are passed since it is weekend.

Please mention both tickets numbers here in your next post.

I started a ticket to get my money back as well. Doubt if anything is going to happen. It’s been a week and nothing… It’s funny how they suck you in and charge for the antivirus software but if you want anything else done to your computer, you have to pay for more services. This company’s a scam! Before it’s all said and done, you’ve shelled out almost $100 for all of the crap they offer… Absolutely ridiculous! Wish I would’ve paid more attention before paying for this computer slow down crock of sh*t!

It's funny how they suck you in and charge for the antivirus software but if you want anything else done to your computer, you have to pay for more services.
I suggest you never buy a car, a house etc. You pay for the basic things, everything else is extra an up to you if you want it or not. If you do want it, you will need to pay extra. A perfectly normal business practice for thousands of years.

If you are entitled for a refund, you will get it.
Just have some patience.
avast has been notified about your tickets and you can expect a reaction soon.
Looking at the ticket numbers, it seems to me the 10 business days are not (yet) passed.

People can speak their mind, but dumping (the same stuff) in other peoples topics, isn’t helping them or yourself.

So far in all of your posts, none has been about seeking help for your issue, no new topic, information or support ticket ID so that people can try to help.

That is your best course of action if what you came here for is help.

We, avast users who have responded are telling as it actually is as, we see topics posted after a few days and no response.

What also isn’t said is submitting multiple tickets can slow the process, as tickets are handled on a first in first out. Updating a ticket or submitting another starts the clock again.

I say only that 118180 closed not the other one…

Only 5 business days have past (according to your OP) since you submitted your last ticket.
As moroni said, the ticket status is still open.

You need to count in BUSINESS days, not weekdays.

When I wrote it, it was 5 business days unless you gave us wrong information.

I’d like to repeat again that we guarantee the 30 days refund policy. If you raise a ticket (it’s a way how to raise official request) in 30 days from the purchase then you don’t need to worry - your request is recorded. And we’ll process it when we get to it.
