After 2 days of debugging and a grand total of 22 hours of work, I finally figured out that avast was blocking my complied application without saying a word. Requiring me to restart my computer because “File is in use” and I cannot rebuild. This is honestly unacceptable to not notify the user about blocking any application and require the user to just blindly find the reason for things that is not working. I was almost about to wipe the project to start over if it hasnt happened to someone before and he told me about it. That means hundreds and possibly thousands of hours of work lost. Please resolve this stupid issue and ALERT THE DAMN USER when blocking ANYTHING. Thank you!
What alerts are shown (or not) depend on the settings you as user make.
There are also the log files that you use to see if avast noticed something or not.
Assuming the Log.db under programdata is the logs, What are the credentials for accessing these log files? Also, Avast used to alert me to these things. At one point it was deepscreen. Which turned itself off after analysing the file. At another point it was quaranting my executable. Which I added to exception. Now it doesnt alert me AT ALL.
The logfiles have the extension log and are plain text files.
