avast network meter not working right?

dear avast,

I got avast for my mobile and if i check my network meter he says that i did used 12 MiB in like 10 min?. that should be like 12-14 MB total. But my provider says that i didn’t used 1 MB total in that 10 min. How do avast count they MiB? Because if i look afther a day he is saying i did used like 300-400 MIB when my provider just says you used like 10-20 MB max…

Hi,

what counter are you looking to? 3G, WiFi or All? Isn’t it possible that you used that much data through WiFi and you are looking at the All counter? Your carrier will then only count the 3G traffic.

Also, what phone and Android version do you have?

i am looking at 3G. No i did used like 10 MiB on wifi. And i use Android phone version 2.2

Okay, what about if you sum all of the apps that have some data transfered manually - how much different the number is from the total? Is it more like the 10-20 MiB or the 300-400 MiB? Sometimes the system reports us different total than the sum of the apps and I’m wondering if that isn’t the case here.

They problem is fixed. My mobile was not working right. But it is working now and your app works fine. Great app
