Following some instability on our home network, I’ve been going through the Avast Rule list in settings. Would someone please be so kind to specify if it’d be ok if I unticked off the Public networks list:
- “Allow outgoing ping and trace requests”
- “Allow Domain Name System (DNS) traffic”
- “Allow Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) traffic”
- “Allow Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections”
Would those unticked from Public network make any difference at all? Are they important there?
Also generally speaking, should there be an unsafe device on our home network, which of the settings on the Private networks list should I untick as well?
