I have Avast on my computer and also on my Mom’s.
Her credit card got 2 charges. One from digital river for $39.99 and one from nexway for $39.99. Slightly different dates.
The one from nexway is not good and I could not find a way to correct it. Avast web site only access the digital river one.
Avast was no help in helping me to contact nexway. We had to cancel my Mom’s credit card, and swallow the $39.99, so when it is time for renewal, we can stop this fraudulent charge from recurring.
If you search for “avast nexway” you will find many problems with nexway. Like “how did they get my credit card nr”?
This is a problem that Avast must address. This nexway is a scam as far as I can tell and has hijacked avast some how.

Disabling Automatic Renewal service for Avast orders distributed by Nexway

Nexway is not a scam nor fraudulent.
Before a auto-renewal takes place, you receive 3 mails telling you.
It gives you normally enough time to cancel the auto-renewal if you wish to do so.
I suspect that the two subscriptions where paid with the same credit card.
One through Nexway and the other through Digital River.
How did you asked avast for help ?
Hi Eddy.
