Avast no longer prompting about quarantining in full screen

Avast being very annoying today. I use AHK scripts to adjust hotkeys in games and apps, so maybe middle mouse button is right mouse button and vice-versa, etc - Avast usually has a fit about these the first time I run them asking to quarantine and so on, where I have to allow the script. Today however I run the script and everything is fine, Avast doesn’t popup, until of course I’m in game and using the script at which point it silently deletes the script and quarantines without even prompting about it. It has never done this before, so I assume something has changed. Usually it will popup even while the app or game is full-screened to ask me what to do (as I have chosen in settings).

I can’t find any option where I can get it to stop automatically doing this, even though I remember specifically asking it to always prompt. My only option is to pre-emptively manually add these scripts to the allowed file list (which is where they should end up when Avast prompts). Or else run the game windowed or something until Avast triggers its warning. Both pretty cumbersome.

Any help appreciated. Or else maybe an adjustment that actually respects our choices with regards to popups. It’s very annoying (and honestly, overstepping) if it just deletes a random script we spent a while writing with no prompt about it.

edit: beyond this I guess it would be great if some work could be done to better handle simple AHK scripts that are simply swapping around hotkeys or doing other menial tasks like moving the mouse cursor or clicking (Avast quarantines them as IDP generic).. In general Avast has become a bit annoying in recent years as far as coding and development goes, I notice for example that even though my scripts have not changed in years and I have whitelisted them etc it will still try to scan them using the internet (because when I am temporarily disconnected the scripts just hang until it gives up using the internet to scan them). When the hash of the file has not changed and the file has not been modified in years and years, and when the files are only 100kbs so can be entirely kept as reference to tell they have not changed, I wish the behaviour would be a bit smarter. Really annoying behaviour that unnecessarily hampers productivity.
