Avast not allowing Web Pages to open

Hello,

Need some help with this issue.

I have Avast Free Antivirus
Program Version: 17.4.2294(build 17.2.3419.0)
Virus Definition: 170515-12

I am facing the issue described as under.

Wen the Avast Web Shield is turned ON, its does not allow any browsers to establish secure connection and there by browser times out after some time.
I tested with
Chrome,
Mozilla Firebox
EDGE
and even Avast Safezone Browser

But I am able to ping the domain successfully.

When I turn the shield OFF, its works normally and I am able to browse web pages.

I am facing this issue since today evening(before 7 hrs)

Can some one help me with this issue?

As has been explained in many other threads, you will need to perform a clean installation of avast.

Agreed – please try an online repair/reinstall and also ensure that the latest program and definitions updates are installed. Let us know if this resolves the issue for you.

Not at all sure where 17.4.2294 version and build number 17.2.3419.0 comes from.

Current program version is 17.4.2294 and build number 17.4.3482.0
