Avast not designed for Windows 10 error

I keep getting the following error any time i try to open Firefox or Thuderbird on my windows 10 laptop. This just started after the recent update that occurred yesterday.

C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\x64\aswjsFlt.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0x000012f.

I have updated Avast, Firefox and Thuderbird.

Tried repair and reboot? https://support.avast.com/en-eu/article/Repair-Antivirus

b]Repair Avast:
Control Panel> Program and Features (Add/remove program)>Select Avast> Select Repair. Reboot when completed

If Repair doesn’t fix the problem, try the following:
Clean Install of Avast:

Strange error… I would hope even a plain reboot should help. Did you try to restart the machine?

Avast repair did nothing to fix the problem. Even after rebooting the computer.

Control panel repair and reboot did not work.

I finally uninstalled Avast, Updated Thunderbird and then downloaded a clean copy and reinstalled Avast. So far the problem seems to be fixed.

You’re welcome.

Odd error box attached in original post – Looks like XP but Windows 10 reported?
