Since about last week, on system startup (windows XP), I get an error message : windows doesn’t detect any antivirus running (the red shield at the bottom right of the screen). But avast is running normaly.
How can I get rid f the error message ?

Try to repair your Avast!. Maybe it is helpful and it is the simplest way.
IMO, Windows Security Center is worthless and you’d better stop the service.
If there is a red circle with a bar over the top of the avast ‘a’ icon then avast isn’t running normally.
