avast not recognising scan ?

hi there,

i have just done a boot time scan , but when i open avast (date of last scan) it says " not yet done" . dont boot time scan register as a scan ?

imho, the boot time scan runs before windows loads and the result can be viewed in your avast folder, in the data sub directory.

Your view under windows shows that you haven’t run a scan from within windows environment hence the message “not yet done”

You could start a scan (whilst running windows) and the message will change to show the date etc. of the scan after it’s completion.

Adam, this was discussed a lot of times. If you search the board for date of last scan you will find that it means date of last full scan and not any other partial or different scan type.
