I purchased avast pro to get the extra benefits but it is no different than the free version the extras do not work I really wanted the Safe Zone to do my banking but it just does not work.
I have emailed Avast 2 times and have still not had had a reply to what the problem may be.
So good for service I wish I had stuck with the free version and saved my money.

for all the comments on here I am still without the “Safe Zone” I have been conversing with Avast who have had me try many fixes but as of yet nothing has worked…I am now waiting for them to reply for the umpteen time but I seem to be getting nowhere…so please do not accuse me of being impatient…I need the safe zone for my banking its now over a month and I still waiting for a fix, I konw I am only a little fish in a big pond, but if something does not work it should be fixed or admit they can’t.

I have done everything that Avast has asked me to do, the latest is I sent them my “memory dump file”…for which I am now waiting for a reply.
Probably best you should follow the instructions of Avast first. Then if that fails, which it may, you should try the clean uninstall followed by reinstall as suggested above.

Although a dump file gives a indication on where the problem likely is,
it is not easy to find the exact spot amongst 100.000’s of lines of code.
