Could someone help me? I´m using avast 4.5 home edition, and I dont know if it is working or not. In my e-mail (outbox and inbox), the message “virus cleaner” is ok… When I check my comp with scan, ok…But the lil “a” icon, that would be in the tool bar, next the clock, from resident shield, isnt visible. Ideas, big genius?

Already tried a repair of Avast?

I’ve got the “same” pb on one of my pc: battery icon or graphic tool icon sometimes…
I really think this is a Windoze pb.
I did what Eddy told me, but, dont work. I did a reinstall program, and nothing again. But I think the avast is ok. I havent virous in my comp, maybe it is a “silent” program…lol. If new ideas, let me know, please.
Just to archive: to me avast is the best antivirous. Is totally ok for me 
Look for a user named RejZor. Click on the link in his signature and get the AEC (Avast External Control).
Try to enable the icon with that util.
