I have Avast installed on my computer and have had no virus issues (that I am aware of) since installing it. However, I am experiencing an issue that I need help with.
Today I apparently had a malicious email in my inbox. When I attempted to delete it, a “Trojan Horse Blocked” notification popped up in the lower right hand corner of my monitor saying that Avast had blocked a threat and that no further action was required. However, that was about two hours ago and the notifications haven’t stopped! Recently, the “Object” line on the notifications have listed “C:\ProgramData\Symantec\SRTSP\Wuarantine\APQC22A.tmp” or something similar, as opposed to listing the subject of the malicious email, as it was doing when I first attempted to delete the email.
Is this a common occurence? Please help. Thanks.
