Avast on a flash drive?

Is it possible to use Avast on a flash drive (sans shields, WebRep, and the gadget) right now? I know that Avast has custom installation, but I cannot remember if you can choose the specifics. I really want Avast on my flash drive because, I know Clam has a portable version, but, let’s face it: it kinda sucks.

No, avast is not portable (it requires installation of the service and drivers).

There used to be avast U3 USB but not anymore…it died when avast 5 arrived
