Avast On-Access Scanner Message - pop-up window issues...

Hi Experts,

I have installed Avast 4.8 home edition(freeware) and also installation were perfect. There are no issues while working with same and other applications. The only thing that uncontrollable pop-up window’s while “Internet Mail → Service → Started” option enabled. It keep on poping up in front of other application.

As per previous threads, I downloaded the “HiJackThis” application and attached the log file below for your further assistance.

Kindly suggest me to control the Pop-up Message window.

You look like you have some serious issues.
In your HJT log, ALL the 01 entries need fixing, thats

O1 - Hosts: 209.85.225.99 msnfix.changelog.fr down to O1 - Hosts: 209.85.225.99 wwx.kztechs.com

Also O4 - HKLM..\Run: [Windows Update] C:\WINDOWS\system32\wuaclt.exe, this is not the wuauclt.exe real windows update.

I would run HJT again and fix those entries, then reboot.

This entry O23 - Service: ICF - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe:exe.exe

Its possible this is this http://www.prevx.com/filenames/X1370008272109980521-X1/SVCHOST.EXE:EXE.EXE.html Which looks grim. This is probably responsible for your uncontrolable pop ups

Then run MalwareBtyes and DrWeb cureit.( run Drweb in safe mode, using the f8 key method only )Post back with the results. You will probably need a more experienced member to help, who will ask you to run more advanced tools

Java is way downlevel at j2re1.4.2_03

Go to Add/Remove Prgrams and un-install all Java installs.

Latest is Version 6 Update 17:
