Avast on iPAQ hw6955

I have an iPAQ hw6955 (WindowsMobile 5) with F-Secure installed on it. My subscription is ending in 10 days. All my computers including WHS are with Avast (I bought the complete kit to protect all my computers). Now I would like to install Avast for PDA as well. But I have a few questions that had not been answered in other threads.

1- Does Avast! 4 for PDA support square screen (240X240). In an other thread the poor guy sees only the half of the screen and no buttons.

2- Does it support updates thru ActiveSync and wireless connection as well? It is really needed when I’m away from home. I don’t bring the craddle with me.

3- Is it a real-time scanner with the ability to program scans like the home/pro edition?

As far as I can see in the Avast! 4 for PDA section, there is only 6 posts since january 2008 and 4 out of 6 got replies.

4- Is it because it’s not a popular product?

5- Is there any issues with this software?

6- Is there a french language version for this product?

I don’t really want to buy a product that does not satisfy me and makes my pocket PC at risk. So all of your feedback on the product will be welcome. I will then be able to make the better choice.

Thank you every one for your help,

Klode

3- No, avast! for desktop computers is much more complicated than PDA edition. We have decided this feature is not needed yet.
4- Forum is not the only way the customers can ask their questions.
5- I don’t think so.
6- Yes, avast! for PDA is translated into Czech, English, French, Portuguese and Slovak languages.

Thank you for your answers. I have downloaded and installed a copy to my PDA. If I click start, programs and the Avast! icon, I get a screen with copyright and version. Kernel version is 4.1.19 and database is 1.4. There is nothing else. Is it normal? How can I update the virus database?

Thank you
