Avast One install

I have Avast Premium Security subscription (expires June 2022) and VPN subscription (expires in 4 days) with both app installed on Windows 10. Instead of renewing the VPN for another year, I subscribed to the new Avast One Family option (it has all the premium features and VPN under one roof) this morning.

I did receive the confirmation email for the Avast One subscription but there is no activation code either on the email or on my account’s subscription history (which does display the Avast One purchase).

Do I have to uninstall Avast Premium Security and VPN applications in Windows 10 before downloading & installing Avast One app in Windows 10? or just download Avast One and install.

If I had bothered to read the fine print for Avast One, I would’ve realized it doesn’t pack all the features included in Security Premium and VPN stand-alone. Will stick to what I already have. :-[

Hi,

You have to uninstall previous Avast applications before installing Avast One. Please see https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/3/#idt_014
Once installed, you activate it by signing in using your Avast Account (no activation code) https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/4/
