Is there a way to stop the UI from opening every time I start my computer? All I need it to do is stay in the system tray. I have been paying for Avast One for a number of years now but it sometimes feels I’m just being spammed Avast ads. I can handle once a month to do a monthly scan but all it’s doing is opening and showing me that I have no issues right now.
Same here; driving me nuts. This will be my last time with Avast if they do not fix this. 2 years with them.
Yeah, you can stop it from popping up by going into Avast settings > General > Notifications and turning off the “Show Avast One when computer starts” option. Also check your startup apps (Task Manager > Startup) and disable Avast from there if needed. That did the trick for me.
