Avast Online Security add-on and Firefox problem ( partly solved )

Hi guys and Avast

It seems that there is a problem with the AOS browser add-on 2015.10.3.2223 and Firefox 39.0
The Avast icon is greyed out, and stays greyed out, and the add-on is not working at all.
Also it can be hard to open the AOS window.

I got conformation from two other users with the same problem.
And both have no problem with the AOS browser add-on in Chrome ( I don’t use Chrome ).

No idea if this is related to the last Avast - or the last Firefox update ( as I had the add-on disabled ).
Personally I wanted to add that the AOS browser addon with Firefox in the Avast Sandbox also never worked well, as it always stuck after some time.

Btw why is the AOS browser add-on for Firefox not availabe as a separate download, as it is for Chrome ?

Ok, part of the “problem” is the AOS setting “Results of search engine” that I had disabled, and with the two young ladies as well when I installed Firefox for them two weeks ago :-[

That sometimes AOS can not be opened is still a problem.
I disabled all other add-ons, and enabled them one by one, but I can’t find a conflict here.
