Hi,

Does Avast Online Security scan all your links, downloads and sites you visit? Because it never says avast is scanning your download when i download something, it never blocks any websites or says this site is unsafe so does it really do what it says it is doing? Also does Avast web-shield protect you on internet explorer?
Also Avast says that it can read and change all the data you enter into websites you go on so it taking all your personal data like bank account details etc.

  1. No - The web shield is the main security for internet traffic, it scans sites, downloads and any links from the web page that the page tries to connect to re retrieve data from.

It will only block what it considers malicious you would have to be visiting a site for it to alert/block.

  1. Yes, but there are limitations, versions of IE11 may not be compatible is using the SmartScreen function.
