Avast Online Security crashes Firefox at MajorGeeks website

I’ve read through some of the poses in this forum and there appears to be a problem with Avast Online Security extension (version 9.0.2006.53) in Firefox 26.0.

Websites load a little slower and going to MajorGeeks.com crashes Firefox. So far this is the only website that crashes Firefox.

I disabled the Avast Online Security extension in Firefox and MajorGeeks loads just fine without crashing Firefox. This problem did not exist until the latest update of Avast about 3 weeks ago.

I am using Windows 7 32 bit with Service Pack 1 and all Windows updates are current.

I am not complaining, I am only reporting this issue.
