Yes, I installed Chrome and activated AOS then did a search in Firefox and posted the resulting picture.

I have AOS disabled in Firefox, and the icon doesn’t appear at all. It definitely looks like he has AOS enabled.
yes i have it on but what is the problem and why is the icon not showing up???
A little hard to answer if it can’t be duplicated.
I have 5 computers and none of them have the problem you describe. :o
I have AOS enabled in Firefox but don’t have the icon. However, when I do a search AOS does show whether or not the site is safe
Since the last firefox update that changed the interface to a quasi chrome interface, it messed up lots of things, no add-on bar, etc. Now I have made some changes (other add-on) to be able to get that back; I find that you may have to go to the firefox customise function to find the AOS icon and drag that back to where it should be.
I don’t know if that will work for kenny556 or not.
I haven’t been using the AOS for some time now, so I can’t really offer much help outside of trying to get the icon back.
Firefox 29 and 30 did change the interface quite a bit. Since I have AOS disabled, it shouldn’t show up, or even be available in the “Customize” Firefox interface. Kenny556 likely will have to go to the “Customize” Firefox interface and drag the AOS icon to the toolbar.
I used the Classic Theme Restorer extension to return most of the customization I had done to Firefox.
I’ve not done any customizations and have no problems.
Don’t know if that gives anyone any clues.
None for me. I’m happy with my customizations, and Avast is working as expected. Since AOS is disabled, I don’t expect it to work. ;D
@ Bob Are you using Firefox or Chrome?
Im glad im not the only one with the problem. I will try the suggestions above and report back with my findings. Hope avast is working on a fix for this.
I use Firefox ESR 24.6.0 and when I clicked on customize I dragged the little AOS icon up to the right top of the page.
Already answered.
