I hope I am at the right place and I hope someone can help.
I have AVAST Premier.
The AVAST ONLINE SECURITY a plugin running off Chrome is telling me a site I have been using for a long time now is Marked as a phishing site.
I have clicked Trust This Domain (also gave it the thumbs up) and I have also added it to both exclusions from Avast User Interface: “Settings > General > Exclusions” and “Settings > Active Protection > Web Shield > Exclusions”. I have also rebooted the system.
Yet it still pops this annoying little screen.
I do not want to remove this plugin but if I have to then I will.
Any other suggestion besides removing the plugin will be great!
I use it almost every day.
Most of these online scanners are total crap, especially Google Safebrowsing .
For them, problem is not the site itself, but its content.
If you use the best security software called Common Sense, there is nothing wrong with this site.
Of course, don’t visit this site without uBlock Origin or some other adblocker.
I guess I should trust Securi and buy their product ?
I stay behind my post 100%.
I’ve seen this before, all these posts with the results of online scanners and then someone from Avast Team
comes here and says there is nothing wrong with the site.
BTW, AOS is also total crap.

Yes, especially if it report infections ;)
the blacklist report mostly come from other sources same as virustotal does, if you click the blacklist tab in Sucuri you will see that the report comes from google
Don’t you need someone to blame when your system gets infected ???
You certainly don’t want to blame yourself do you ???
Bypassing a block or quarantined file without making sure that it’s absolutely clean and safe, is simply foolish.
Guys, we are talking about AOS add-on, not about Web Shield (real protection).
I feel protected without AOS because I use other much better security add-ons.
Cannot but agree with what bob3160 writes here.
I do not question AOS one bit. It is an excellent first line of defense to not click any suspicious or malicious search query result link.
It is always that first click, that may infest you. Do not click what comes flagged red or orange. Curiosity killed the cat on many occasions, and an unwise decision can make you regret that bitterly later. Shunning an infesting click is much, much better than to cleanse off a malware infection later. It well may be sometimes with a file infector or with ransomeware that you might not have that option of cleansing or a second chance. If you use AVAST use it for the full of it’s protection, do not cripple it because you ‘think’ you know better, you often do not!
