‘Why did you rate your experience (of a website) as negative?
Pornography
Weapons/ Violence
Gambling
Alcohol/ Drugs
Warez/ Illegal’
… so asks Avast Online Security, but fails to offer the one alternative that causes the most grief to unsuspecting users: malicious software in the form of browser hijackers, spyware, phishing etc, etc.
Surely it would be more useful to include that in the list of options rather than pretty obvious stuff about gambling, weapons, porn, etc ?
What if and end-user likes pornography, he will rate it high!
My Pastor will rate it low!
Therefore, IMHO, it is a worthless rating that slows down browsing!
Sincerely,

“At this point in time, the Internet should be regarded as an Enemy Weapons System!”
Quite so … only, I think the idea of it is good in the sense that malicious or downright evil websites are not always obvious to a casual surfer, but may be avoided if there is a red circle warning from Avast Online Security beside the URL on the search page.
If, however, Avast gives the green light indicating ‘This site is safe’ when in fact it isn’t, but is known to contain malware of some sort, then it undermines confidence in the system that Avast has been trying so hard to promote when it says ‘Help us rate the web’.
In short, I would like to do so, but your list of options is too restrictive.
