Ok I will admit sometimes I am not the sharpest tool in the shed. I never used AOS as I had always used WOT. I got rid of WOT when all the negative information surfaced on them. I would like to use AOS now but cannot find how to enable it. I use FF and not Chrome and it is not on this machine. IE is on this machine also. There is no add on listed in FireFox. I went to the modify Avast in the control panel and do not see AOS listed there. Is it under a different name? I did a seach on here for AOS and Avast Online Security but posts are all about people who have it installed already.

I am using the latest version of Avast Free.
Windows 8.1 on an HP desktop.
FireFox is updated to the latest version.

What am I missing?

Ok one more question. Am I supposed to enable something in FireFox? I see nothing to enable with this name under extensions or plugins. It is installed.

Ok I rebooted again and this time when I opened FireFox the message was there to install the add-on. Thank you for your time and patience!! I really appreciate the help.
