Yes. PC started and left idling, came back and found taskbar icon, which when deleted then launched a Avast screen invitation to run a Smart Scan, so that was also deleted.
Avast are getting more and more aggressive with full screen popups. I believe they are just making more users like me more annoyed.
And again. Still hoping for a fix without having to send logs as I would like to review the logs before sending.
If they aren’t readable or if they are too big that would still be a no go.
Yes. I got one too this morning. You are protected. X’d that from taskbar then a full screen one tried to open, but I X’d that from taskbar before it opened. Just annoying and disruptive for sake of being annoying. No wonder I see posts here on the forum of users simply dumping Avast for another AV due to unneccessary agressive screens and popups
Two weeks later again. Still not fixed.
I also had another 14 day Avast icon on taskbar, which when closed, to get rid of it, then proceeded to display a full screen popup inviting me to do a Smart Scan.
I took a screenshot before X’ing out of that.
This aggressive behavior by Avast is simply annoying and doing them no favours at all.
