Avast opens up to white screen

I UPDATED MY PREMIUM PROGRAM ON MAY 5 2017 AND NOW I GET A 6 BY 8 OR SO WHITE SCREEN WHEN I OPEN AVAST THIS IS WHERE THE PROGRAM INFO AND SCAN SHOULD BE OPENING. I DID TRY THE REPAIR OPTION AND DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM.

I updated my premium program on May 5th, and now I get a window that is just white, which is where it should show all the program info and scan should be opening. I updated, tried repair option, and even reinstalled multiple times and nothing is fixing it.

Any help would be great, thanks.

Perform a clean installation with the off-line installer and check if the problem is solved.

I got the same report in the Japanese forum, too.
Repair did not work, I advised to reinstall avast and waiting for result.

I see it a lot lately that only a clean installation is solving certain things.
Keep it in mind I would say.
