AVAST OR KASPERSKY?
Why this poll on avast forum? What would you get, I mean, which kind of results?
Are you noraml,you ask this question in an avast forum,even if kaspersky isbetter"ofcourse not"no one will vote for kaspersky,and i am the first of them.

You’d have to ask in some general security forum, not a camp of one or another. In this case avast!'s.
As far as the free goews, it’s a no brainer. avast! wins hands down. But as far as the payable goes, i guess you should just try trial versions of both and then decide what works better for you. Kaspersky i not bad at all, but it might be somehow heavy in some cases.
I used kaspersky in past its was not bad but now i dont like it.
I would say avast!.

Well because of this poll and how it is formulated I could develop a quick understanding of the meaning of your nick ;D , but I give you some other interesting information for an answer here. “Clever” avast users use everything that Kaspersky has, except for their resident av-solution, so they go to their forums and read when there is interesting info to be found there, to their blogs, even could use a free tool or so if it is advanced enough or include their scanning as found in mega-scanners. And that is as far as it goes for me, and that is why I am an avast user,

Avast(Free PRO AIS) of course ;D Kaspersky is overrated for me :-X
Kaspersky has been shown to use more resources and impact system performance more than Avast! does
Agree with that! Kaspersky also conflicts with more other security software. I used to use it and gave up after having so many problems. It also leaves stubborn remnants behind on uninstall. In addition, the forum is much better here than Kaspersky.

I’ve felt no need nor little curiosity, ever, to try another AV since installing Avast.
