So I re-installed Avast Free Antivirus and it started up in passive mode.
I understood everything clearly and perfectly and I went to go uninstall the two programs Avast wanted me to remove:
Microsoft Security Essentials
And
Trend Micro Titanium Security
But I can’t find any of them!
I tried re-installing MSE and then uninstalling it, removing all files and install files I had on the pc,
but the same issue remained!
Avast wants me to uninstall two programs I don’t even have on my pc!
I have searched everywhere for them, in the controll panel, in my disk storages, everywhere!
They don’t exist on my pc, and if they do they are hidden in other names!
I turned off passive mode but still, I want to know:
How can I find these programs and why does Avast tell me to uninstall them if they are not installed on my pc???
