avast password on my andriod tablet help

recently installed avast on my nero cloudnine ultra 4.4 tablet today it asked for update which i did its now asking for a password 4-6 digits … to be honest i cant recall ever doing a password so im totally stumped i tried 1234 12345 123456 0000 00000 000000 all to no avail tried uninstall an re install but still asking for password can anyone help im somewhat of a noob to tech so simple instructions greatly appreciated

Well, it might. Since we didn’t release a new version on Google Play for a few months now so it shouldn’t just ask for an update right now (if the tablet wasn’t disconnected from the Internet for a few months) and the beta shouldn’t update itself.

got tablet mid june so about 5 weeks ago i installed it but def dont remember putting a password in it ?

ps what is it with the verification why are they so dammed hard to read ?

just wanted to let you know i managed to sort it i went into app settings disabled anti theft, uninstalled avast then re installed added a 4 digit password i could remember and then re enabled antitheft and its working now ;D many thanks to those who offered help
