Avast Passwords for Mac Version 1.5.4

I made a mistake (?) to update my Avast Passwords to version 1.5.4.
It doesn’t start. Keeps saying “Avast Passwords didn’t start properly”.
All I can do now is to Quit it.
How can I downgrade it to previous version? … or is there a way to do something else?

this didn’t help. I’m having the same issue. Am I able to use terminal to backup the vault or password files somewhere and reinstall and then restore my password file?

I installed 1.5.4 this morning and NOW I get the “Avast Passwords didn’t start properly” QUIT

What do I do to fix this?
