Avast Patch

Hi
I have a program called ucheck and i was informed their was a patch for Avast Premium Security. Thought maybe error.

Checked in Avast GUI checked Avast program update (Avast Premium security was up to date).
Clicked check for updates, and sure enough their was a update. Downloaded and had to reboot computer.

Old version was 26.3. 10886 .3546
New version is 26.3.10886.3573.

Just curious as I have not seen this before.

Hi again! We’ve just pushed out a micro‑update that should fix the streaming updates issue. It should install automatically, but you can also check for a program update in Settings (the second CHECK FOR UPDATES button) and restart your PC.

There are sometimes this kind of “microupdate” that does not raise version but only build number.

Hi, first of all, thanks @NON, that’s a reasonable answer.
In this particular case though, we actually released a new 26.3 build, plus the micro‑update. I realize it’s a bit confusing, but we needed to fix a DNS-related issue that was present in the original 26.3 release.
Hope that helps clarify things a bit!

That was the first time ucheck ever showed a update for Avast.

Doesn’t take much to confuse me.
